PETER ROMANO
Peter Romano

The works presented here deal with our interactions with nature and the affects we have on our environment. These images are not meant to be ‘straight’ representations but fragments and distortions of the subjects and deal more abstractly with our relationships in society. I present these images in a way that conveys how I feel we relate with the world around us. The Pedrographs are representations of how we examine the world and how we fit into our environment. Leonardo Da Vince used the circle to define divine perfection in the universe, thus the absence of a subject matter within the black rectangles represents the search for perfection in aesthetic compositions.
