CLAY LEWIS
In the background our lives are happening, the things we do and say drop into this background, building up and eventually fading away. All the while others lives are contributing to that same background, whether we realize it or not. We so often dismiss the messages that can be read from the out of focus fading images in our cumulative backgrounds and that of the societies and histories attempting to make direct influences on them.
Understanding, exploring and in the end experiencing select pieces of the background through an lens unique to myself is the ultimate goal, learning as I go the more I know, the more I learn the exact inverse becomes true and find that I don’t know more than I ever did.
