Painting has been her passion since she was a little child. Her notebooks were usually filled with drawings. Painting helped her escape the roughness and indifference of the real world. For her, painting is a process of discovery and creation of a better world.
Moving to America has nurtured her dream to be an artist. Her art reveals her identity and traditions, and explores the merger between Eastern and Western culture. Through her art she expresses the struggle between hope and despair, loneliness and happiness, sadness and joy.
