My work touches upon the curiosity of the constructive identity. How do we go about answering those questions around “who we are, as individuals and how we fit in?” Each painting is an exploration into one of those questions. All good answers should never be clear or conclusive. They should be qualitative responses that only grow in time. Like identity, old constructs should come into question and spar with the new. My paintings are about that tension and confrontation.
