Art is one of the few venues of education which enables young minds to illustrate their personality, spirit, and character in their work. Art consists of passion, inspiration, and determination. Every student has the ability to achieve new levels and skills from being in an artistic environment. I hope to challenge my students to personally provide themselves with the courage and self esteem which can stem only in art. It is from that courage that children can empower themselves to achieve great and wonderful things later on in life. I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of that influential experience.

It is necessary to create opportunities which can allow children to create artwork that can allow them to become spatially and creatively aware. Without the imagination, inspiration and inventiveness that artwork can create, originality can not exist. As a teacher one of my larger goals is to inspire ingenuity and creativeness in my students. There is something special and unique in every student, and I am eager to discover what incredible gift or talent each possesses. With those gifts, my students will be able to appreciate so much more in their lives. It is essential that students take time to enjoy the beauty that this world has to offer. This greater appreciation would better their lives individually and as a whole.
