KATELYN SADLER
Katelyn Sadler

Hello and Welcome,

My goal is to one day serve students at the four year university level using film as a medium for change. Currently, however, I am engaged in a number of activities, one of which is pursuing a college education at the University of Arizona. In addition, I am a Resident Assistant at Manzanita Mohave Residence Hall, which is both challenging and enjoyable.

I have worked on a few very small student productions, and am also pursuing my interest in social justice education with my internship at the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership’s Social Justice Programs. These two foci merge in my honors thesis project, “foto.synthesis, a social justice film showcase.” This program is a student focused film festival with the goal of creating dialogue with film about inequality, privilege, prejudice, stereotypes, and activism.

I am currently a member of the Honors College and am on the Deans List.

In the summer of 2007, I was an intern for Dolphin Dreams Images, where I honed my cinematography, editing, and SCUBA diving skills in a resort setting, where product turn-over and delivery are quick, by documenting marine life of the coast of Kailuha-Kona, Hawaii.

I am interested in any and all opportunities in the media industries, and I am rearing to get my feet wet. Thank you for considering me.
