What can I say that hasn’t been said before? I love to explore the different uses of my work. Be it ceramic, metal, wood, etc. Function and Form are my muses. By looking for the meaning behind being an object, I am trying to take apart and redefine those everyday items that so innocently witness our lives. Most recently I’ve been exploring and simplifying ceramic vessels. I am attempting to understand the true nature of clay and it’s relationship to it’s surroundings. I want to find the personality within all of those inanimate members of our world. Essentially, I’m searching for the essence of things.
