I wore a jacket this day as we climbed around the ruins of ancient Carsulae. I was profoundly grateful for a long anticipated respite from the summer heat and humidity in “la conca” of Terni. I enjoyed imagining the other half of the city that has yet to be unearthed, and I was grateful for the opportunity to exercise my imagination.
