Relevant Experience
Management and supervision of a Technical and Production staff of up to 17 full-time and student employees. Budget management of the Production area (operations, maintenance, and wages)
Production scheduling and coordination for all School of Music events. Classroom scheduling for all classrooms in the building. Responsible for implementing a computerized scheduling program for the department and a web calendar to promote events.
Representative to the planning and construction of a $21 million University of Arizona Fine Arts Complex expansion and subsequent completion efforts. Building Monitor and department liaison to campus Facilities Departments.
Significant communication and management experience and training. Presently enrolled in the University Leadership Institute.
Coordination of general front-of-house operations, box office, public relations and marketing information.
Significant stage/production and sound experience with University and professional organizations and events.
Taught classes in Theatre Sound in association with the School of Theatre Arts and for IATSE Local #415. (I was a member for over 9 years.)
Computer network manager - software/hardware support for over 100 Macintosh computers.
Active performer (Clarinetist) - have played with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Tucson Civic Orchestra, Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra, Southern Arizona Light Opera Company and Arizona Symphonic Winds, and others.
