In this society your body is just as much a commodity as a stick of butter with about as much worth, it can even be divided by government math like a side of beef. The present state of affairs as a nation is dreary to say the least; the media’s role is nothing more than propaganda at its best. We breathe, sweat, and live the media; though it is not always something that is inherently noticed by the population.
We are always engulfed by the news and media and have little choice in avoiding it. The ideals of this propaganda are perpetuated through our bodies by news and advertising; we choose to surrender ourselves to a pretty face or intrinsically seductive idea in exchange for our personal freedoms. the various forms of media invade our lives; through our consumption of it, it in turn consumes us from the inside out.
