Responsibilities included:

Registration – condition reports for incoming photographic donations and purchases, incoming and outgoing photographic loans, packing and unpacking artwork, data entry, transaction record management, and assistance in registration where needed.

Cataloguing – photograph record entry and photography collections database management, assessment of photograph including annotations, keywords, publication history, identification of photographic processes and identification of source of signatures and handwritten text.

Print viewing – responsible for retrieval and display of selected photographs, interaction with the public and university classes.

Front desk attendant and gallery monitor – visitor information and general inquiries, public interaction, sales and special events.

July 2006- current Curatorial Assistant (full-time), Center for Creative Photography, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ

In addition to the above responsibilities:

Database Management - Use knowledge of database systems and museum information standards to work independently to identify technical issues within data and database system. Communicate with database software development company, Minisis Inc., and University technical support to resolve issues.

Data Management - Establish and execute methods for creating uniformity within data upon the migration to the new database management system.

Data Access - Prepare data for museum-wide and public use.

Database Education - Staff training and development of database help guides.
