History

I recently completed obtaining a Bachelors of Art in Fine Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with an emphasis in Photography. My experience in college-level photography includes (up to) Advanced Black and White, as well as Color Processing, and Alternative Processing (Van Dyke, Cyanotype, etc.). My experience in digital work includes the use and knowledge of HTML, digital video editing (Final Cut, iMovie), digital image acquisition and editing, Photoshop, also MAX/MSP. I am also well versed in both Macintosh and Windows operating systems; as well as applications such as: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, InDesign (PageMaker), et-cetera.

My most current work experience comes for being a Graduate Assistant in the Art Education department at the University of Arizona, while I finish up a Masters degree in Art Education. This position gives me the opportunity to do what I enjoy most; developing an art curriculum and teaching it to/with others. In the spring of 2006, I was a teacher in the Wildcat Art Program; a Saturday art program for students K-12. I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant for both the University of Arizona in an intro to Art Education class; as well as for the University of California at Santa Cruz in an alternative process photography class. In the past, I have also held the position as lead student in the Campus Mail Services office at UC Santa Cruz; where I was involved in the management of a number of students as well as being a part of the hiring process for the students.
